Fireworks

Chinese New Year 2014 is best to be celebrated with fireworks, with family and friends. This history of fireworks actually started in ancient China in the 17th century, this was the earliest recorded time that fireworks have been documented. The Chinese at this event in time, created many different types of fireworks and colors for their festivities. China was also the first to create gunpowder, which is how fireworks are made. It wasn’t used for weaponry which is how we all think of the intended purpose for gunpowder, but at this time it was used only for fireworks.

When the Song Dynasty ruled, many village people would purchase and use these different types of fireworks to display them at grand displays and celebrations.
